TPOW Needs You!

TPOW is organised by the local community FOR the local community and we need volunteers. Last year we had amazing feedback and nearly all of those who took part in our events mentioned what a difference all the volunteers had made to their day. Not only that but we were able to donate £30 to a charity chosen by each volunteer, a total of over £6000.

What will you be doing?

Race Marshals

Our biggest need is for race marshals, you don’t need to be experienced to do this job as you will always be placed with someone who is. What you do need is the ability to give clear directions, encouragement and most importantly a huge smile to all our worthy competitors.

Water Stations

We also need people to man the water stations around the course. This will involve handing out cups or bottles of water to the runners as they pass. Again, the most important skill for this is to be able smile and be encouraging – the runners will be very happy to see you!

Other Jobs

There are also lots of other jobs that we need volunteers for. If you don’t fancy doing either of the above but would like to help at the start & finish or even in the preparation the day before, then we’re sure we’ve got the perfect job for you.

This year we have events on Saturday 16th Spet as well as Sunday 17th Sept. By volunteering, you can help raise money for a charity of your choice as well as being part of a fantastic weekend of events in Purbeck.

Please note all marshal volunteers need to be 18 or over on the day of the race but we can have junior helpers in other areas if managed by an adult.
